Facebook Campaign

 

During this campaign, my advertising team was faced with the challenge of marketing Facebook to college students, its original target.  Through primary and secondary research, we decided to target male college students with females as the secondary target.  The campaign was based on focusing on Facebook's privacy settings which seemed to cause the limited use of the site for males.  We created a rough version of a commercial showing how male college students can still have a social life while maintaining a clean web presence.  We also created print ads to be placed in colleges and drink coasters utilized in college town bars to establish a connection between college night life and male students. 

User Generated Content​

​This project was to create a social media campaign for the New York Knicks with the use of User Generated Content.  Due to their lacking Internet presence, my team focused on getting more traffic on their different pages.  We created a homemade smartphone commercial competition and we chose to hire a team of social media specialists based upon their team loyalty who would be paid in free Knicks tickets and merchandise. We found that this would really increase usage on these pages and bring fans closer to the team.

Analysis of a Target Market

 

This assignment was for a Consumer Behavior course and it was to analyze an age cohort.  My team researched ages 55-64.  We studied the their involvement, attitude, motivation, preference, and usage of different consumer products such as home decorative products, frozen deserts, packed coffee and tea, smartphones and tablet computers, and media.  We also compared it to the preceding cohort.
